This portrait has been made with a graphite lead from a picture of my grand-father.

C’est une aquarelle que j’ai fait en voyant un frelon gisant dans la veranda, il y a quelques années. C’est un moyen de locomotion plutot risqué, même pour un jeune elfe!

This is an aquarelle that I made after seeing a dead hornet in the veranda, a few years ago. That’s a quite dangerous way of transport indeed, even for a young elf!

Ceci est un portrait de mon arrière grand-père, réalisé il y a 5 ans à la mine graphite. Le plus dur a été de lui redonner ce minuscule sourire en coin quasi-imperceptible de la photo d’origine.

This is a portrait of my great grand-father, made 5 years ago with a graphite lead. The most complicated thing to do was to give him this tiny and quasi-subtle smile that appears on the original picture.

Pourquoi pas? après tout il a beaucoup voyagé…

Voici une elfe réalisée à l’aquarelle (palette limitée). Je me suis largement inspirée de Mucha, le célèbre artiste de l’Art Nouveau du XIXème siècle.
